Officers, dog handlers and Dogs are deployed for the various works in Bomb Detection & Disposal Squad of Akola police. Main task of this unit is to check the crowded places, important temples and VIP convoy.

Where ASC is performed:

• VIP-VVIP arrangements.
• Sensitive/High-security areas.
• Sacred places.
• Crowded areas and locations.
• Railway stations and bus stands.
• ASC deployment for all major processions and celebrations.
• Incoming threat calls.
• Incoming bomb threat calls.
• All other necessary security arrangements are prioritized.
